Franklin is a Canadian children's animated television series, based on the Franklin the Turtle books by Brenda Clark and Paulette Bourgeois.
It was produced by Nelvana for Family Channel. It also aired on Treehouse TV in Canada and on Nickelodeon in the United States from 1997 to 2013. It has since been off the air and replaced with a new adaptation, Franklin and Friends.
