Quickly show/hide hidden files & folders in macOS
At the power of your fingertips: using a simple keyboard shortcut in Finder.
Sometimes finding and accessing hidden folders or files is needed in macOS Finder – like the user «Library» folder, or directories like «.ssh», «.git», or just inspecting the default user Terminal settings stored in «.zshrc»…
I don’t really like to permanently having hidden files and folders visible, as I find it most of the time too distracting for finding the relevant stuff.
This could be achieved through a command in the Terminal app, though.
So what I like instead, is using a simple keyboard shortcut which can instantly toggle showing and hiding hidden files & folders.
